Golden Pond is focused on making investments in the Healthcare industry. The principals of Golden Pond have extensive experience in various sectors of healthcare, including managed care and disease management; healthcare services; pharmaceuticals and specialty pharmaceuticals; and medical devices. We have been involved in the successful negotiation, completion and integration of numerous acquisitions. We have also directly led the growth, development and, in some cases, the sale of numerous health care businesses.
The ideal acquisition for Golden Pond would allow us to leverage the experience of Golden Pond’s team to provide sustainable long-term value creation for our shareholders.
Due to the unique characteristics of a SPAC, our focus will be on companies with outstanding growth prospects; companies that can be combined with similar or complementary businesses as part of the initial transaction and where such combination results in a more competitive business; or, companies that are involved in a turnaround and where Golden Pond’s capital, expertise and the ongoing access to public equity markets creates obvious advantage.
